Amanda Quick books are such fun. However, the book I purchased "Late for the Wedding" was missing pages. My book numbered 1-260; back to 85-116, up to 293. I was missing pages 261 through 292. Disappointing!

greetings to Miss Krentz!! i really love reading your historical romances!!!!!! i was addicted to it since i was still 13yrs. old (when my classmate let me read her SEDUCTION.) now, im almost 18 and i've started collecting ALL Amanda Quick novels. i just want you to know that i really love all the heroes and heroines in each novel, but sadly, my collection is very limited since the bookshop where i spend most of my time after school has no stocks of your latest books. (can i ask you for a free book this Christmas?) i hope to read your JAK novels soon,too! well, i hope you'll continue to inspire more with your captivating romantic stories (especially those hopeless romantics like me). you really do know how to catch a heart!! keep up!!!!

The librarians even arrange to get a new book of yours when they hear about it, because they know I'm looking everywhere and want to read them all! I finished "Slightly Shady" recently and was complaining to my other "book buddies"(the girls that got me started)that it just left you hanging, no "happily ever after". Then I got to looking at the sequel lists about someting else and realized there were two more in the series. Well, I went to the library to get them and they only had "Late for the Wedding" and not "Don't Look Back". So they got it in from another library, I just finished it and am about a fourth of the way through "Late for the Wedding". I just love all her books so far and the first place I head for when I go to the stores is the book section to see if there's any I don't have yet.

When I first read Light in Shadow, I fell in love with it. It was the first book where I could let myself go completely and feel as if I were within the story. And when I found Truth or Dare I was so excited. I immediately ran out and got it, and it was just as good as Light in Shadow. Once I finished that I went back and read Light in Shadow and then Truth or Dare. That is just how good they are, they never get old.

I previously read Light in Shadow and just finished Truth or Dare. Love the characters in both books. These are books you start and don't want to put down until you're finished, but then again, you don't want to finish too soon because you don't want the story to end. Please let us have more stories about Ethan Truax, Zoe and the gang.

Hello, I have loved your books for many years now, and always eagerly await a new one. I love your main characters, they are always slightly offbeat and quirky. Every woman isn't the most beautiful, but strong, and all the men aren't georgeous, rich and powerful, like in real life. Please keep them coming! Dear Ms. Krentz: Your novels are a wonderful respite from everyday life. I finish my day, weary and tight (I'm a writer, too, but only a community journalist and newsletter editor), and if I can spend the evening with one of your books (or Amanda Quick's) the tension disappears, leaving me with a warm and happy feeling that allows me to tackle the mundane with some energy, because there's a great story I'm remembering. I love your heroes -- they're strong but vulnerable, self-confident but unsure of their attraction. ( I especially like his booted feet and careless leaning against a fence/fireplace/kitchen counter. And your heroines -- always practical and reasonable but susceptible to the sensual charms of the hero. She always understands him and knows (intuitively) that she can turn him from his hidden coldness to a bright light of awareness and happiness. Please keep writing! I know you live in the Northwest, which makes your books even more enticing (I live on Whidbey Island). Your books make the rain go away.

I enjoy all of your books. Tobias and Lavinia are among my favourite characters. I also hope that you write more on the futuristic place that was created in Orchid, After Dark and the others. I enjoyed those in particular.

There is nothing I love more to do than to curl up with a Jayne Ann Krentz and a box of bon-bons and read the day away. Her stories keep me on my toes and always surprise me in the end. Not to mention the romance is a perfect foil for the crime.

Wow, I totally love your books, even though I have a massive back log of your books to read, since I'm only 18 yrs old!! The first one I read was "Family Man" a few yrs ago, which got me hooked - though I must admit it is one of my most favourite!! I loved the trilogy with Lavinia Lake and Tobias March. Lavinia was a little stuck-up in book one, but she eventually warmed up to Tobias (in her own snobbish way). Tobias was great. I loved the part when Tobias was trying to compliment Lavinia and compared her with a beautiful sea nymph (or sea something, I can't remember). I plan on buying The Paid Companion when it comes out in May.

Just finished reading "Truth or Dare". Loved it as I did "light in Shadow", because although there has to be an ending for the characters in these books, eventually, I'm looking forward to finding out if Ethan's vision of he and Zoe, with 2 children, comes true, and if Singleton, Bonnie, Jeff and Theo become a family. Also, if there is anything in the future for Arcadia & Harry. I look forward to reading many more books by Jayne Ann Krentz.

As soon as your books come out I read them. I usually then get them in paper back to reread and kept. The last coouple were good but I think they were a little far off your usual still. When I get your books I stay up and read it in one night, truth and dare tookme over a week. Golden Chance was the first book of yours that I remember reading many time and still laugh as much. you kept writing I'll reading.
